These terms explain how Go Duck Someone works, what users can submit, and how public duck journeys are handled.

1. Acceptance

By using Go Duck Someone, checking in a duck, uploading a photo, submitting a message, or purchasing a duck kit, you agree to these Terms of Use.

2. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to submit check-ins, upload photos, purchase duck kits, or use interactive features. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must use the site on your behalf.

3. Public Check-Ins

Duck check-ins may be publicly visible. This may include duck code, display name, city, state or region, country, message, photo, check-in date, map location, mileage, badges, and journey history.

Do not submit private home addresses, sensitive locations, or anything you would not want publicly associated with a duck journey.

4. Photos And User Content

You keep ownership of photos, messages, and other content you submit. By uploading or submitting content to Go Duck Someone, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, resize, moderate, remove, and share that content in connection with Go Duck Someone, duck journey pages, leaderboards, social media, marketing, and related services.

You represent that you own or have permission to submit the content, and that it does not violate anyone else's rights, privacy, or safety.

5. Content Rules

Do not submit content that is obscene, explicit, hateful, threatening, harassing, illegal, unsafe, invasive of privacy, misleading, spammy, or otherwise inappropriate. Do not upload photos of people, children, license plates, private property, or identifying details unless you have permission and are comfortable with the content being public.

6. Reporting And Moderation

Users may report photos or content they believe is inappropriate. Reported photos may be hidden immediately while awaiting review. We may approve, restore, hide, edit, or delete content at our discretion.

7. Security And Public Risk

Photos and other content submitted to Go Duck Someone may be publicly visible. Do not upload anything private, confidential, sensitive, unsafe, or that you would not want others to see or share.

We use reasonable efforts to protect the site, but no website, server, or online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. By submitting content, you understand and accept the risk that content may be accessed, copied, downloaded, shared, or used by others, including without our permission.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Go Duck Someone is not responsible for unauthorized access to, use of, copying of, or disclosure of user-submitted content.

8. Duck Responsibly

Do not place ducks somewhere dangerous, illegal, damaging, obstructive, or on private property without permission. Do not interfere with vehicles, businesses, public spaces, or other people's property.

9. No Guarantees

Go Duck Someone is for fun. We do not guarantee that ducks will continue traveling, be found, be returned, remain accurate, or avoid being lost, damaged, removed, or discarded.
